Rebel star Prabhas reportedly canceled much anticipated Kalki 2898 AD release event in Japan. Here’s the reason beyond it.


Prabhas is currently busy is filming his multiple films like horror comedy The Raja Saab ,Hanu Raghavapudi directorial Fauji, and recently announced three film with the most happening production house Hombale Films.

Darling is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film’s like Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam , Fauji , The Raja Saab, Spirit, Kalki 2 and was last seen in the sensational hit Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. The  has garnered immense anticipation globally and is set to release in Japan on January 3, 2025.

Rebel Star and Nag Ashwin were scheduled to visit Japan next month for a special screening and to interact with fans. However, there’s unfortunate news for Prabhas’s Japanese fans. Due to an injury sustained while shooting one of his ongoing projects, Darling has had to cancel his plans to travel to Japan.

While this news has left his fans in Japan deeply disappointed, Nag Ashwin will attend the event as planned to represent the team. Fans wish actor’s speedy recovery and hope to see him back in action soon.

In 2026, Rebel Star will appear in Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam, the sequel to Salaar; and Spirit, an anti-hero grindhouse drama directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. According to a new report by TrackTollywood, Prabhas will be paid a whopping 600 crores for his three films with the producers. His salary per film is 200 crores. In April 2025, he will also feature in Kannappa, a mythological drama, in a cameo role.

Rebel Star is the only Indian actor to have six films with a worldwide gross opening of over Rs 100 crore. The upcoming horror thriller The Raja Saab will release in theatres on April 10, 2025.
