The rivalry between Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR took a playful but intense twist today when Jr NTR sent an actual billboard to Roshan’s Mumbai residence. The billboard featured a bold image of Jr NTR with the message: “Ghungroo toot jaayenge par hum se yeh war jeet nahi paaoge” (The ghungroo will break, but you won’t win this war against me).
Not one to back down, Roshan took to Instagram to respond to the surprising move. Posing next to the billboard, he wrote: “Okay @jrntr, now you’ve taken it too far by sending an actual billboard under my house. Alright, challenge accepted. Remember you brought this upon yourself. #9DaysToWar2.” The actor teased that the playful war had gone a step further and hinted at his own comeback.
This exchange between the two actors has built excitement for the upcoming release of War 2. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film promises an epic showdown between Kabir (Roshan) and Vikram (Jr NTR). The high-octane trailer has already captured attention, leaving fans eagerly awaiting the August 14, 2025 release.
Despite the competitive banter, Roshan has expressed his admiration for Jr NTR’s skills. During a recent event in Sri Lanka, Roshan called NTR “incredible” and praised his effortless dance moves. “He is the first co-actor I’ve worked with who doesn’t need rehearsals when he dances,” Roshan remarked. He also teased an exciting dance-off scene in War 2, saying, “It has taught me a lot that I will incorporate in my life.”
