Advance Booking for Coolie Begins Across India

Rajinikanth’s much-awaited action thriller Coolie is now open for advance booking. Early morning shows will start at 6 am in states like Karnataka, Kerala, and Andhra Pradesh. Tamil Nadu will begin screening from 9 am, following state regulations. Overseas pre-sales are already strong, with premieres planned for August 13 in the US, UK, Australia, and the Middle East.

Set to release in theatres on August 14, Coolie marks Rajinikanth’s first collaboration with hit director Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film has received an ‘A’ certificate, signaling intense action and violence. This is also the first time Lokesh has made an adults-only film, increasing curiosity about its darker tone.

Nagarjuna reportedly plays the antagonist who runs the illegal syndicate. Soubin Shahir is his trusted ally. Shruti Haasan’s character uncovers the operation and finds herself in danger. Rajinikanth steps in to protect her and dismantle the network. The story blends high-stakes action with emotional drama, promising a thrilling ride for audiences.

Despite fan theories, Coolie will not be a part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU), which includes Kaithi, Vikram, and Leo. Instead, it stands as a standalone action-packed entertainer that blends emotion, suspense, and Rajinikanth’s star power.
