Actor Soori introduces a Tamil family drama that tells an emotional story, while Naveen Kasturia stars in the Hindi spy thriller Salakaar. The Telugu television series Mayasabha also portrays the political climate in Andhra. Among these movies and television shows is the unscripted drama from Season 7 of Bigg Boss Malayalam. These are the top OTT releases available for streaming on OTTplay Premium this week (April 4–10, 2025) in each Indian language, ranging from Salakaar to Maaman and Mayasabha.
1. Salakaar: Hindi
The action takes place in two timeframes in this suspenseful spy thriller, starring actor Naveen Kasturia as a shrewd spymaster. The series revolves around a risky nuclear-weapons ruse, as the undercover operatives scramble to foil adversary schemes and defend the country. This thriller features Mouni Roy as an undercover agent.
2. Mayasabha: Telugu
This Telugu series, which is allegedly based on actual politicians, chronicles the ascent of two friends in Andhra politics during the 1970s. As their eventual rise positions them as rivals, the series portrays their evolving friendship. The series stars actors Chaitanya Rao and Aadhi Pinisetty. Mayasabha: Rise of the Titans, directed by Deva Katta, is a film that should be on your weekend viewing list.

3. Maaman: Tamil
The protagonist of this Tamil family drama, played by actor Soori, is a young man named Inban who has a strong affinity with his nephew, Laddu. We get some touching moments from the young boy’s attachment to his uncle. However, issues arise after Inba marries, and the young boy’s intrusions start to drive a wedge between Inba and his newlywed wife, Rekha. In this poignant movie, which received a lot of praise when it was released in theaters, Aishwarya Lekshmi plays Inba’s wife.
4. hebbuli Cut: Kannada
A schoolboy wants to wear his favorite actor Kiccha Sudeep’s hairdo from the action-thriller movie Hebbuli. However, gratifying ‘simple desire’ is not as easy as it appears, the video warns us. The Kannada movie highlights caste discrimination and the various ways it impacts individuals through the child’s story.
5. Main Tenu Fer Milangi: Punjabi
This Punjabi film, which examines friendship, romance, and heartbreak, centers on a group of college students. Simmi Dhiman is the director of this love drama, which stars Param Grewal and Akash Sharma as the central couple. Fans of colorful Punjabi flicks may like the film, which also stars Arshdeep Kaur Bhatti and Jas Wraich.
