Utkarsh Sharma Recalls Hurting Salman Khan. Actor Utkarsh Sharma, who starred in Gadar 2, talks about his time spent as an assistant on the set of the 2010 movie Veer in a recent interview.
Filmmaker Anil Sharma is the father of Utkarsh Sharma, who rose to recognition for his part in Gadar 2. The actor recently reminisced about his time spent working as an assistant on his father’s film Veer. The young actor disclosed that he used to applaud situations in which he injured Salman Khan’s nose. However Khan was kind and handled the incident with grace.
Utkarsh Sharma recounted in a recent interview with The Lallantop that his father had to go to London to finish Veer’s production schedule after he finished his board examinations. However, he chose to go with his father.
He said, “Mujhe kuch nahi pata tha halanki set pe dekha hai par kaam kya hai mujhe nahi aata tha toh uss set pe maine clap dena sikha jo bhi behind the camera cheez hai woh seekhe.” (I didn’t know how things worked on a film set. I mean, I had seen work on a film set, but what I had to do I didn’t know. So, I learned how to clap and do other off-camera work.)
Sharma had the opportunity to observe the work of Salman Khan, the main character, up close as he was learning how to work on a movie set. However, he unintentionally harmed the superstar before a scenario where he had to clap close to him.
The actor recounted, “Ek baar toh maine clap dete dete unki naak beech mein daal di, but bohot graceful the unhone kuch kiya nahi.” (Once, while giving a clap, I mistakenly brought his note between them, but he was graceful and didn’t do anything.)
Utkarsh gained a distinct insight of Khan’s behavior both on and off camera as a result of the experience. He clarified that the well-known actor, who has starred in multiple film office hits, has a composed manner and a grounded personality away from the screen. But as soon as the camera began to roll, he became a captivating actor, and his expression was expressed through his level eyes.
Utkarsh said that Salman’s ability to convey emotional depth in love sequences really astonished him. He revealed that he thought the celebrity put all of his heart into his parts, and Utkarsh was mesmerized by his candor.
