Utkarsh Sharma Hurt by Ameesha’s Comments, Says Anil Sharma. Anil Sharma, the director of the Chart Bruster movies Gadar and Gadar 2 disclosed the minor clashes among the cast. Anil Sharma is also the father of the actor Utkarsh Sharma.
Gadar: Ek Prem Katha is the first part of the Gadar series where Ameesha and Sunny Deol play lead roles. The director Anil Sharma’s son also plays a vital part in the movie as the son of Patel and Deol. The movie was released in 2001 and was a huge blockbuster at that time. And the songs from that movie still haven’t turned old. The director came up with part two with the same cast and centers the story of the grown-up son of Patel and Deol. The part two of Gadar is titled “Gadar: The Katha Continues.” Utkarsh Sharma and Sunny Deol play a huge part as the story revolves around father and son. Due to this Ameesha got less screen time in the second part of Gadar.
The actress expressed her disappointment for not giving her enough screen time and gave many statements regarding that in her interviews. In one of her interviews she said, “I feel bad for Anilji since he tried to push his son Utkarsh a lot in Gadar 2, but eventually, Tara and Sakina stole the limelight. Utkarsh is a very sweet boy, and I got him into the industry, and his father is very sweet to keep promoting him.”
When Anil Sharma was asked about the same he admitted that his son Utkarsh was hurt initially. However he later took it as a challenge to survive in the industry. Anil said, “It felt cheap sometimes, but I believe she didn’t mean any harm.” Actor Utkarsh Sharma also addressed Ameesha’s comments in one of his old interviews. He politely declined the negativity and said that Ameesha was being misquoted.
