Bollywood star Varun Dhawan is a constant source of amusement, both on and off screen. Known for his candor and sense of humor, he recently recounted a humorous story of how actor Ranbir Kapoor and his brother Rohit Dhawan colluded to abuse him. Varun claims that Ranbir is generally pleasant and that the two only turn on him when they are together.
A humorous moment from a recent game of padel was recounted by Varun Dhawan during an open discussion with Ranveer Allahbadia on The Ranveer Show. He described how he was competing against Ranbir Kapoor, a childhood friend, and his brother Rohit Dhawan. When he is with Rohit, Ranbir is different from his typical amiable demeanor with Varun.
Varun added, “Unka yeh bada hai ki mujhe bully karte hai jab saath mein hote hai. Ranbir jab akela hota hai tab bahut ache hai mere saath par jab mere bhai ke saath hai tab he is also in that elder brother zone.” (They are childhood friends, and they have this thing where they bully me when they’re together. Ranbir is very nice to me when he’s alone, but when he’s with my brother, he also gets into that elder brother zone).
Varun, however, wouldn’t have it and defeated them both in two games! And he couldn’t help but announce his triumph on the show, telling everyone how he beat them.
Varun Dhawan previously talked candidly about his strong relationship with Salman Khan in an exclusive Pinkvilla Masterclass, reminiscing about his early years spent with the superstar. He revealed that he always treasures that playful connection and still feels like a child around him.
He clarified that Salman shows the same warmth to all children, not only his own. Varun further mentioned that his father and Salman have collaborated on nine movies, reflecting on the unique bond between their families.
