Kangana Ranaut is once again making headlines for her bold remarks. In a recent interview with Hauterrfly, the actress called out male actors in Bollywood, labeling many as “badtameez” for their rude and disrespectful behavior on film sets. “Mera main concern yahi tha ki badtameez bahut hain heroes,” she said, explaining why she chose to work with fewer mainstream male actors in her career.
Kangana elaborated on how some male actors mistreated female co-stars. She revealed that actors would often arrive late, disrespect their heroines, and even try to sideline them with poor facilities on set. “Main sirf sexual tareeke se nahi bol rahi hoon… heroine ko neecha dikhana, choti van dena — mujhe kaafi trouble bhi hua,” she added.
She said her refusal to tolerate this behavior led to backlash, as many couldn’t handle a woman standing her ground in a male-dominated industry.
The Queen star also spoke about the casting couch, calling Bollywood a “dirty and filthy” place, especially for newcomers. She said the industry remains unkind to outsiders and that many young strugglers lose themselves in the pursuit of fame. Kangana credited her early success for helping her avoid deeper pitfalls, but acknowledged that not everyone is as fortunate.

Kangana was last seen in Emergency, where she played former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. She also appeared in Tejas, earning praise for her role as a fighter pilot.
