Shah Rukh Khan recently gave an “honest review” of his son Aryan Khan’s debut series The Ba**ds of Bollywood*, which is set to release on Netflix. During a candid chat with fans on X (formerly Twitter), Shah Rukh shared that he had watched a bit of the show and found it “endearing and funny.” He went on to tweet, “It’s very good. You all see and decide… but it’s very entertaining… and wacky and emotional. Honest Review!”
In the same session, Shah Rukh revealed that he will make a cameo appearance in the series. Netflix India also teased fans with the announcement that the first look of the show would be released on Sunday, August 17. Shah Rukh’s fans were excited to learn that the King of Bollywood will feature in Aryan’s directorial debut.
Fans were eager to know when Aryan would make his acting debut, especially in a superhero role. Shah Rukh humorously responded that there’s no need for competition at home right now. He joked, “Give him love as a Director in Ba**ds of Bollywood* when you watch it. Abhi ghar mein competition nahi chahiye.

Shah Rukh also praised his family, particularly his youngest son AbRam, and his wife, Gauri Khan. He said, “Really man… and you haven’t seen AbRam in action yet. Just keeping up with my lovely family is hard!” He also n noted that Gauri, as a producer, would be particularly proud of The Ba**ds of Bollywood*. The show has received support from many industry friends, with Shah Rukh confirming his participation in a gracious and loving manner.
