OTT Releases To Watch This Week: My Fault Part Two

Singham Again, Rohit Shetty’s fifth installment of the Cop Universe, debuts digitally. Culpa Tuya (Your Fault) the second part of the famous romantic movie Culpa Mia (My Fault) will be available soon.

Origin (December 25)

In a comprehensive cinematic examination of history and mankind, Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Ava DuVernay expertly adapts Isabel Wilkerson’s critically acclaimed novel Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents. Isabel Wilkerson, played by Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist who navigates profound personal grief while exposing the inflexible caste systems that influence cultures all over the world. Her voyage takes her through the eerie remnants of Nazi Germany, India’s deep-rooted caste system, and the ongoing racial injustices in the US. Vera Farmiga, Emily Yancy, Niecy Nash, and Jon Bernthal are all featured in the movie. Available on Netflix.


Squid Game season 2 (December 26)

Finally, Squid Game, the worldwide sensation, is back for a second season. Three years after his first triumph, Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) returns to the dangerous competition with the goal of destroying the evil organization from the inside. The plot follows him as he does so. Im Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Sung-hoon, and Yang Dong-geun are among the new competitors who join him. They compete in a series of dangerous games, each more dangerous than the previous, for the opportunity to win the 45.6 billion won prize. The story goes deeper into the workings of the games, revealing their mysterious origin and examining the sinister intentions of the corporation. Available on Netflix.

Singham Again (December 27)

DCP Bajirao Singham (Ajay Devgn) encounters a new foe in Singham Again, the fifth installment in Shetty’s Cop Universe franchise: Zubair Hafeez (Arjun Kapoor), the vindictive grandson of terrorist Omar Hafeez (Jackie Shroff). Following Zubair’s kidnapping of Singham’s wife, Avni (Kareena Kapoor Khan), Singham sets out on a relentless quest to free her and bring an end to Zubair’s activities. As the team negotiates difficult tasks influenced by Ramayana mythology, he is accompanied by DCP Veer Sooryavanshi (Akshay Kumar), Inspector Sangram “Simmba” Bhalerao (Ranveer Singh), DCP Shakti Shetty (Deepika Padukone), and ACP Satya Bali (Tiger Shroff). Your Fault (December 27)

This movie, which is a follow-up to My Fault (2023), centers on Noah (Nicole Wallace) and Nick (Gabriel Guevara), who fight to keep up their romantic adventures in spite of their parents’ attempts to keep them apart. Their lives become intertwined with new relationships and problems as Nick concentrates on his professional career and Noah starts university. Nick’s relationship is further strained by the return of his vengeful ex-girlfriend and his mother’s dubious intentions, which could destroy their bond and upend the Leister family’s dynamics. The film, which follows the events of My Fault (Culpa Mía) and sets the scene for the final installment, Our Fault (Culpa Nuestra), is based on Mercedes Ron’s second novel in the Culpables trilogy, Culpa Tuya.
