Gunshots Outside Elvish Yadav’s Gurugram Residence

Elvish Yadav: According to news agency ANI, which cited police, three masked individuals opened fire outside the home of YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav in Gurugram, Haryana, on Sunday. Several bullets were fired. Around 5:30 in the morning, the event took place in Sector 57. Over a dozen shots were fired. According to Sandeep Kumar, PRO of the Gurugram Police, Elvish Yadav was not at his home when the shooting occurred, according to ANI.

At the moment, the YouTuber stays outside Haryana. ANI released images that showed broken glass, a damaged ceiling, and other gunfire-related damage. Yadav resides on the second and third floors of the building. The incident did not injure anyone; however, his caregiver and a few family members were present when it occurred.

Police promptly arrived at the scene, collected forensic samples, and then began examining nearby CCTV footage. Moreover, officials confirmed that they are taking legal action, and once the family files a formal complaint, investigators will launch a thorough probe. In addition, a senior police official stated that the family’s allegation will soon lead to the filing of a formal case.

Before escaping, the attackers fired more than two dozen rounds at the YouTuber’s home. Consequently, the gunfire struck both the first and ground floors of the building, police said. Furthermore, a relative quoted by PTI explained that Elvish was currently outside Haryana and had not received any threats before the attack. Meanwhile, police confirmed that the investigation remains ongoing.

Elvish Yadav Snake Venom Case:

Authorities initiated legal action against Yadav for allegedly using snake venom as a recreational drug during rave events attended by both Indians and foreigners. In May, the Allahabad High Court denied Elvish Yadav’s plea against the chargesheet and the ensuing criminal proceedings in the snake venom case. Senior advocate Navin Sinha and attorney Nipun Singh argued on Yadav’s behalf that the complainant who filed the FIR lacked jurisdiction under the Wildlife Protection Act of 1972.

The defense further argued that investigators found nothing on Yadav and that he did not attend the Noida party where the alleged incident took place. Noida Police arrested him in March last year in connection with the case. Yadav’s attorneys also asserted that investigators did not recover any drugs, psychotropic substances, or snakes from him and that no evidence linked him to the other accused.
