Fahadh Faasil revealed that he had an opportunity to do a Hollywood film with renowned Mexican filmmaker and Oscar winner Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu. However, the project did not happen because he had to stay in the US for four months to improve his accent, Fahadh said in an interview with The Q Studio.
“I had to go and stay in the US for four months to improve my accent. There was no payment for it. I didn’t feel like I had to work that hard for my accent.” Fahadh said. Iñárritu is a director who has given world cinema great works such as Amor Perros, 21 Grams, Babel, Beautiful, Birdman, and The Revenant. DiCaprio also won the Oscar for Best Actor for Iñárritu’s film. Malayalam movie lovers are very disappointed that Fahadh has lost his chance in a film by one of the masters of world cinema, Iñárritu.
The post-production works of Iñárritu’s new film, which stars Tom Cruise and Sandra Bullock, are in progress. Emmanuel Lubezki is handling the cinematography for the film.
Meanwhile, after the film ‘Nandukaludale Nadu Eradevela’, Fahadh’s latest film is ‘Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira’, directed by Altaf Salim. The film, which is set to release on Onam, is being awaited with great anticipation. Kalyani Priyadarshan is playing the female lead in the film.
The trailer of the film, which belongs to the romantic comedy category, was released last week. The film, which features a stellar cast including Revathi Pillai, Vinay Fort, Lal, Suresh Krishna, Babu Antony, Johnny Antony, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Anuraj, and Vineeth Vasudevan, is produced by Aashiq Usman Productions.
