The IndiGo IDFC FIRST Credit Card, a co-branded travel card that combines the advantages of the Mastercard and RuPay networks, has been introduced by IndiGo in collaboration with IDFC FIRST Bank. According to an official announcement, this dual-network capability, which was offered under a single application, seeks to enable wider acceptance across domestic, international, and UPI transactions.

Major Features of Indigo IDFC FIRST Credit Card:

⦿ Two-Network Access:
This welcome package includes Mastercard and RuPay cards for customers. One application can use the dual network functionalities, expanding its use across UPI payments, e-commerce, and point-of-sale systems.

⦿ Flexible Application Process:
People who want to apply can either pay a 4,999 joining fee or can also join through a 1 lakh fixed deposit to secure guaranteed approval.

⦿ Activation Benefits:
Customers who are planning to get this credit card are going to get huge offers from Indigo. This card offers a worth of around 5000 bluchips and also complimentary Indigo meal vouchers. Apart from this, customers are going to get around 3000 bluchips on spending 1 lakh within 90 days from the date of card issuance.

⦿ Extra Rewards:

Apart from these rewards and offers, customers can earn 22 Indigo Bluechips per 100 rupees spent on their Indigo booking through the website or app. There are also 25,000 Bluchips per annum as the milestone rewards.

⦿ Forex Markup:

This card has one of the lowest forex markups of 1.49%. This card also covers the Trip cancellation cover, travel insurance, and other lifestyle perks.

Customers who spend ₹12 lakh a year earn up to 60,000 BluChips and receive 25,000 IndiGo BluChips in bonus vouchers, along with 15% off on IndiGo flight bookings, according to an official press release. These rewards allow them to redeem multiple free flights annually.

In the first year, customers also enjoy additional bonus vouchers of up to 8,000 IndiGo BluChips, depending on their card type, IndiGo and IDFC FIRST Bank announced in a joint statement. The companies designed the card to reach a wider range of consumers. By eliminating traditional credit score restrictions, the FD-backed option ensures more Indians can access premium travel benefits.
