Angelina Jolie is ready for a fresh chapter. The award-winning actress and director is planning to leave Los Angeles and it may happen sooner than fans think.
According to the Sources close to Joli, she is preparing to list her historic $24.5 million Los Feliz estate, once owned by legendary filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille. The move comes after years of hinting that she is only remained in L.A. due to custody arrangements with ex-husband Brad Pitt.
According to the insider, Jolie never truly wanted to live in Los Angeles full-time. “She didn’t have a choice because of the custody arrangement with Brad,” the source revealed. Now that their divorce has been finalized, Jolie is ready to act on long-held plans.
The final step? Waiting until her youngest children, twins Vivienne and Knox, turn 18. That milestone is less than a year away.
Jolie purchased her current home in 2017. The six-bedroom, ten-bathroom mansion is a piece of Hollywood history. DeMille lived there for decades, and even Charlie Chaplin once called the neighboring property home. Jolie later combined the two lots into one sprawling estate. “She’ll make some updates and list it,” the source confirmed. “It’s a masterpiece.”

Jolie has made no secret of her desire to live abroad. “I grew up here, but I stayed because of the divorce,” she told The Hollywood Reporter. “As soon as they’re 18, I’ll be able to leave.” She is appararently eyeing time in Cambodia and plans to visit family members around the globe.
I have a house now to raise my children, but sometimes this place can be… that humanity that I found across the world is not what I grew up with here.” For Jolie, it is all about peace and privacy.
