Varun Dhawan Says What Type Of A Person Anushka Sharma Is During his recent participation on Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast, Varun Dhawan talked candidly about a heartwarming tale featuring Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli. Varun revealed Virat’s emotional side and the depth of the cricket player’s feelings following India’s defeat at the Nottingham Test by recalling his chats with Anushka during their Sui Dhaaga shoot. Anushka Sharma was praised by actor Varun Dhawan, who called her a “evolved person” and lamented that he did not enter the business sooner in order to have more opportunities to work with her. “It was at the Nottingham Test, when India lost. She said that she didn’t attend that game and came back and didn’t know where Virat was. She went to the room and saw him, literally crying. He blamed himself, even though he was the highest scorer that day,” Varun recalled.
“Anushka is the kind of person, anybody’s life that she enters, she will… She’s such a real person. People become uncomfortable because of her realness sometimes. She says the right things at the right time,” Varun said. He respected her ability to accept others for who they are and her spiritual perspective. “She’s someone who doesn’t care whether the world knows her or not, and that’s what makes her so unique,” he added.
He also talked about how she couldn’t stand injustice and how they talked for hours while filming Sui Dhaaga in a village. The actor said, “She doesn’t tolerate injustice. We spent a lot of time talking during the shoot. We were in a village, sitting on rocking chairs, just having deep conversations.”
Anushka’s much awaited comeback movie, Chakda ‘Xpress, a sports drama that was originally supposed to be available on Netflix, has been postponed indefinitely. Varun, on the other hand, is preparing for the Christmas release of Baby John, his upcoming action movie.
