Viral Video: A distressing video of a Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable attacking a traveler on a moving train has gone viral on social media. The official is seen repeatedly striking the man and trying to push him out of the train with his luggage in the video, which went viral very quickly and incited a lot of outrage online.
Video Details:
The 42-second video shows the passenger fending off the attack while being pushed in the direction of the compartment’s door. Even though the official mistreated him, he can be heard expressing regret. He is seen being violently handled by the constable, who snatches his possessions and tries to toss the traveler and his luggage outdoors. According to reports, the incident followed a chain-pulling incident, but the images have sparked harsh criticism, with many people raising concerns about the behavior of those in charge of maintaining safety.

The official passenger assistance account on X (previously Twitter), RailwaySeva, quickly took notice of the viral video. It shared the video and the passenger’s PNR information, tagging RPF Northern Railway and RPF NWR Jaipur and asking them to investigate.

RPF Response:
The event happened on the Delhi Sarai Rohilla (DEE)–Jodhpur (JU) Super Fast Express, which left on August 18, according to the PNR data. Three confirmed tickets were booked in the 3AC class, according to the records.
RPF Northern Railway tagged RPF Delhi Division in response to RailwaySeva’s notice, giving them instructions to look into the matter. “NR-3411 kindly look into the matter, make conversation with the complainant if required, and direct the concerned officials for necessary action immediately,” Northern Railway stated in its official post.
