Mega Star Chiranjeevi, in a special video released just before his birthday, confirmed that his much-awaited socio-fantasy epic Vishwambhara will hit theatres in summer 2026. The film, directed by Bimbisara fame Vassishta, is being made on a massive scale with cutting-edge visual effects.
Chiranjeevi addressed fans’ concerns about the delay. “The entire second half of Vishwambhara depends heavily on VFX and graphics,” he explained. He assured that the filmmakers are investing time and effort to deliver a high-quality cinematic experience.
“The team is working hard to give audiences the best. That’s the main reason for the delay,” he added.
Describing the story as magical and timeless, Chiranjeevi said, “It’s like something straight out of Chandamama tales. It will appeal to children and also to the child within every adult.” He noted that summer was chosen for release because it’s the season kids enjoy most, making it the perfect time for such a film.
