The actress’s manager recently claimed that Priyanka played a key role in driving attention to Heads of State, even though she wasn’t the titular “head of state.” In an interview with Variety, the manager said, “I don’t think she would normally be credited for the film’s success, because she’s not the lead. But in this case, the data doesn’t lie.”

Heads of State, directed by Ilya Naishuller, premiered globally on an OTT platform on July 2. It stars John Cena, Idris Elba, and Priyanka Chopra in action-packed roles. During promotions, Priyanka spoke highly of the experience. “We were all really big fans of the movie we were making,” she told Filmfare. “The tone was great. Everyone was fun and light… It was a really good crew.”
