Dinesh Mangaluru: Renowned for his iconic roles in movies like KGF, Kichcha, and Kirik Party, veteran Kannada actor and art director Dinesh Mangaluru died on Monday at the age of 55. The actor passed away at his Udupi home around 3:30 in the morning. The Kannada cinema industry is in grief at the loss of a gifted artist after Dinesh’s unexpected death. Dinesh rose to popularity as the Bombay Don in the popular movie KGF.
Media reports state that Dinesh suffered a stroke during the shooting of Kantara. Doctors treated him in Bengaluru, and he initially recovered. However, last week he complained of poor health, and his family admitted him to Ankadakkatte Suregon Hospital. Regional reports confirm that he had struggled with health issues for the past year and suffered a cerebral hemorrhage before his hospitalization. Dinesh is survived by his wife Bharati and two sons, Pawan and Sajjan. His family told Kannada OneIndia that they will keep his body at his Laggere home from 8 a.m. on Tuesday for admirers and well-wishers to pay their respects.

Dinesh Mangaluru Film Career:
Dinesh Mangaluru began his career as an assistant to famed art director Shashidhar Adapa, working on movies like Chinnari Mutha, before establishing himself as an actor. In the end, he made a name for himself as a freelance art director with Janumada Jodi by TS Nagabharana. He contributed to many movies over the years, such as No. 73 Shantinivas, Chandramukhi Pranasakhi, and Veera Madakari. He received the Karnataka State Award for Best Art Director in 2004–05 for his work on Shivarajkumar’s film Rakshasa. He later gained more respect and reputation in the industry for his supporting-role playing abilities.
