Besties, Beers & Big Dreams: ‘Do You Wanna Partner’ Series Set for Global Release

Do You Wanna Partner’ Release Date Confirmed

Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty are teaming up for a brand-new comedy-drama series titled ‘Do You Wanna Partner’. The show is set to premiere on September 12 exclusively on Prime Video in India and across 240 countries and territories. Produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, and Apoorva Mehta under Dharmatic Entertainment, the series brings a quirky, heartfelt take on friendship and entrepreneurship.

What’s the Series About?

The story follows Shikha and Anahita (played by Tamannaah and Diana), two best friends who set out to launch their own alcohol start-up. Set against the chaotic charm of city life, the show captures their hustle to break into the male-dominated world of craft beer. Expect plenty of rule-breaking, jugaad, emotional highs, and hilarious setbacks. It is a vibrant ride celebrating female ambition and friendship with a distinctly Indian flavor. Their journey is filled with unexpected alliances, tough choices, and moments of self-discovery. The series offers a fresh, fearless take on women chasing success on their own terms.

A Star-Studded Cast and Creative Team

Alongside Tamannaah and Diana, the series features Jaaved Jaaferi, Nakuul Mehta, Shweta Tiwari, Neeraj Kabi, Rannvijay Singha, and more. Mithun Gangopadhyay and Nishant Nayak created the show, while Collin D’Cunha and Achint Kumar directed it. Nandini Gupta, Aarsh Vora, and Gangopadhyay wrote the script.

Karan Johar Calls Series “Audacious and Fun”

Calling the show “vibrant and unapologetically fun,” Karan Johar said the series captures the spirit of new-age female entrepreneurs. Prime Video’s Nikhil Madhok echoed the sentiment, calling it “fresh, witty, and full of heart.”
