Allu Arjun action sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rule, is unstoppable at the Indian box office. The action thriller continues to topple records as it collected Rs 1705 crores amidst the ongoing stampede controversy.


Amid the ongoing actor’s legal issues and controversies, the Sukumar directorial Pushpa 2 : The Rule keeps strong box office momentum in India, amassing Rs 1705 crore within 21 days, with Rs 716.65 crore from its Hindi version.

Allu Arjun’s starrer faced protests and legal measures following a catastrophic stampede at its premiere, but the mass entertainer nonetheless performed considerably. ‘Pushpa jhukega nahi’ (Pushpa will not bend) no matter what may come; any controversy, the action thriller is an unstoppable train at the box office, and the numbers are proof of the same.

Pushpa 2: The Rule’s maximum business came from the Hindi language, which contributed Rs 716.65 crore net in India, and Telugu states contributed Rs 316.3 crore, followed by Tamil in third position with a Rs 55.35 crore collection. Thereafter, the movie made Rs 7.48 crore in Kannada and Rs. 14.07 crore in Malayalam. In total, the film collected Rs 1109.85 crore at the Indian box office and totally collected Rs 1705 crores worldwide with just 21 days of its theatrical release.

The action sequel ensemble stellar cast includes icon star Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Dhananjaya, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, and Anasuya Bharadwaj. It is a direct sequel to the 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise. It is now the highest-grossing Indian film of the year and the second highest-grossing film in India. Netflix bought the film’s streaming rights and it will be available to stream after its theatrical run.
