Dil Raju On TFI

Dil Raju said, “The Telugu film industry has been growing and garnering the country’s respect. The CM wants the film industry to grow exponentially and help it become an international hub. Numerous language films and shows are often shot here, and the CM wants even international content to be shot in Hyderabad soon. The FDC will send him a proposal for that in a few days.” The producer added “Due to unexpected incidents lately, there are rumours there’s a gap between the government and the film industry, but that’s not true. We also spoke to the police about being amicable moving forward.”

No more benefit shows?

Many rumours suggest that there will be no benefit shows from now on. Addressing the issue Dil Raju said, “That is such a small issue; it is not important. Today’s agenda was to discuss how to make Hyderabad an international movie hub. 200 movies are released here per year. Stop asking about Sankranthi movies, benefit shows, and ticket hikes; they are unimportant. Time will tell, and that can be discussed later. We have a bigger challenge to tackle now.”

Sandhya Theatre Incident

On December 4 at Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre, a woman was killed and her son was injured following a stampede-like situation which was triggered allegedly due to the presence of Allu Arjun, who the public wanted to get a glimpse of. A massive crowd had gathered to see Allu Arjun and the situation escalated when he waved to fans from the sunroof of his car. This resulted in the death of a woman named Revathi and injuries to her child.
