Ajay Devgn is reportedly in advanced talks with Kannada filmmaker JP Thuminad for a new horror-comedy. Thuminad is best known for his sleeper hit ‘Su From So’. According to a report a popular news website, Devgn is seriously considering the project. A source revealed, “While his talks with Mythri and Sun Pictures are still in early stages, the discussions with KVN Productions have progressed well. If Ajay gives the nod to the script, he will begin work after wrapping Drishyam 3.”
In the meantime, Devgn has kicked off shooting for De De Pyaar De 2. He was recently spotted at Versova Jetty in Mumbai, heading to set under heavy security. The romantic comedy is scheduled to hit theatres on November 14, 2025. A video of the actor walking toward a ferry at the jetty has gone viral on Instagram. Fans noticed his calm demeanor, even as he avoided direct interactions.
Ajay’s last outing was Son of Sardaar 2, directed by Vijay Kumar Arora. The ensemble cast included Sanjay Mishra, Mrunal Thakur, Chunky Panday, and several others. It delivered a blend of action and comedy with some emotional twists.
