In the same interview, he was asked about the clash between Mohanlal’s movie during Onam and also Fahad Fasil’s movie. In this response, the director said, “Yes, that was intentional. We were at odds with both the Fahad Faazil film and Mohanlal’s Onam movie. We chose to rely on word-of-mouth advertising because we felt it would be wiser to avoid creating any frenzy about it. To be honest, when I began writing the screenplay in 2021, I assumed it would be an independent production with little-known performers. Later, the script underwent numerous revisions, and we produced a total of over 20 drafts.”
