The first ticket of OG was auctioned to raise funds for the political party of Pawan Kalyan, who is not only an actor but also a politician and Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The ticket was sold at the auction for Rs 5 lakh. The auction was held on the second day of Pawan Kalyan’s birthday. The ticket for OG’s show at Nizam’s was bought by Team Pawan Kalyan North America. The organizers announced that the money raised through the online auction will be given to Pawan Kalyan’s party, Jana Sena Party, within three days.
The full name of the film is They Call Him: OG. The name of the character played by Pawan Kalyan in the film is Ojas Gambhir. Bollywood star Emraan Hashmi plays the antagonist Omi Bhau in the film. This film is his Telugu debut. Priyanka Mohan, Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, Shriya Reddy, and Harish Uthaman play other characters in the film. The film is set to release globally on the 25th of this month. OG is one of the three films that Pawan Kalyan committed to before being elected as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
