Priyanka Chopra on board for Mahesh Babu and S.S. Rajamouli’s much anticipated SSMB29. Earlier it was reported that Deepika Padukone was rumored to star in the SSMB29 but after a lot of speculations, it’s now confirmed that Priyanka Chopra will star alongside Mahesh Babu in SS Rajamouli’s much-awaited film, tentatively called SSMB 29.

The upcoming action adventure thriller will begin filming next year and is set to be an epic African jungle adventure. According to the latest reports, it is said that Hollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has been signed up for SSMB29. There are several social media reports pertaining to the same, and they are all affirmatively confirming that Priyanka is indeed on board.

Director S.S.Rajamouli has already made it very clear that this film will be on standards, and this naturally requires a big cast. In accordance with this, the makers could have opened in Priyanka Chopra, who is an Indian born actress who moved to Los Angeles and is now a leading Hollywood face. An official confirmation on this is awaited for now. Filming is scheduled to begin in January 2025, with the first part set to be released in 2027.

During the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival, RRR director S.S. Rajamouli revealed more details about the SSMB29.  He said ,My next film with Mahesh Babu will be a globetrotting action adventure. It’s going to be a kind of James Bond or Indiana Jones film with Indian roots.

SSMB29 is a two-part film starring Mahesh Babu and directed by S. S. Rajamouli. The film is inspired by Lord Hanuman and is expected to have a budget of Rs 1000 crores. 

The film is in the final stages of writing, and is all set to go on floors in April 2025 as the director is currently searching for the perfect filming locations and is expected to hit silver screen in 2027.
