Teachers’ Day: Renowned filmmaker Ramgopal Varma celebrated, i.e, wished his gurus for making him what he is today. On this special day, he took to the X platform to wish his gurus. He stated, “Here’s a BIG SALUTE to all the GREATS who inspired me to become whatever I became and to make whatever films I made, starting from AMITABH BACHCHAN, STEVEN SPIELBERG, AYN RAND, BRUCE LEE, SRIDEVI, and DAWOOD IBRAHIM, HAPPY TEACHERS DAY” with salute emojis sprinkled around in the middle.

Generally speaking, Ramgopal Varma is a personality who doesn’t give much importance to designated dates on the calendar, birthdays, Mother’s Day, and festivals; all these are just other days for him. They don’t hold much importance to him, he said so on so many occasions, in public events and with TV interviews, he did not hold back his views and stuck to his guns on his freedom of expression.

A confession:

Having said all that, he also says life is too flimsy to take anything seriously, which is the reason why he will hold no accountability for his words. As far as his actions are concerned, he will do whatever he wants within the law enforcement guidelines to maintain the order he created.

In recent times, Ramu, as a filmmaker, made some terrible films. He started doing political propaganda films and B-movies. All of these films made us wonder if this is the same filmmaker who once made SHIVA(1989), SATYA(1997), RANGEELA(1995), in the 1990s, and horror classic Bhoot in the early 2000s….

Not long ago on his X account he posted a long confession note stating that he truly did not know what he was doing with films past these 25 years and he will soon rectify his mistake by making his biggest film to date “SYNDICATE”, it a crime drama film set in futuristic time period and deals with the next big crime wave that may going to happen.

This news made Ramu’s long-silenced fans happy, and they expressed their best wishes to him. From then on, Ramu took his words seriously and has not announced any new film to date. There have been news reports that before making Syndicate, he will make a horror comedy film with his Satya lead Manoj Bajpayee, then he will make his epic crime saga. We have to wait and see in the coming days, if Ramgopal Varma really changed his persona or if it is another publicity stunt which he loves to create from time to time.
