Prasanth Varma Film with Prabhas: Telugu cinema is abuzz with the reports that director Prasanth Varma. Widely regarded as a creative storyteller, has completed the story and script for his highly anticipated collaboration with Pan-India star Prabhas. The project is backed by Hombale Films, the same one that has given blockbusters KGF and Salaar. The film’s journey to the sets does not appear to have been as smooth.
As per industry sources, Prasanth Varma has completed all work on pre-production. The team is fully prepared to take the film on floors as soon as Prabhas gives his nod. Reportedly, everything is locked from storyline to visual planning.
Majority of this challenge would lie with Prabhas’s tight schedule. Currently, the actor is busy with Fauji, which he has been working on over the last several months. In the very near future, he would be off to Germany for the next schedule of Raja Saab being directed by Maruthi.
After he winds up Raja Saab, he is immediately supposed to jump into Spirit. His ambitious project directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Reports say that Prabhas has allotted maximum dates for this action drama, almost negating any possibility of accommodating another project in between. Spirit is expected to have a long duration of shooting owing to the big filmmaking style of Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
Even though Prasanth Varma is all set to roll cameras, the reality is Prabhas is not free at present. Thus, the director probably has to contend with waiting for several months, perhaps years, before he can see his vision with Prabhas come alive. Until then, the project hangs in suspension until the star actor can open a window in his schedule.
