Jr NTR vs Nani vs Nagarjuna: The Telugu version of Bigg Boss has become one of the most popular reality shows on television. Apart from the entertainment, one aspect that always garners attention is the remuneration of its star hosts. Over the years, three leading actors Jr NTR, Nani, and Nagarjuna have taken charge of the show, each commanding different pay scales.
When Bigg Boss Telugu launched its first season, Jr NTR was brought in as the host. His presence gave the show a grand start. Reports suggest he was paid a whopping ₹50 lakh per episode, making him the highest-paid host in the history of the show on a per-episode basis. Despite hosting only one season, his fee set a benchmark that others are yet to match.
The second season was hosted by actor Nani, who brought his boy-next-door charm to the show. However, in terms of remuneration, Nani earned significantly less compared to others. His pay was around ₹10 lakh per episode, the lowest among all the Bigg Boss Telugu hosts so far.
From the third season onwards, Nagarjuna took over as the permanent host. Initially, he started with ₹12 lakh per episode in Season 3, but his fee increased consistently each season. By Season 4, he charged ₹15 lakh, Season 5 saw him at ₹20 lakh, Season 6 at ₹25 lakh, Season 7 at ₹27 lakh, and Season 8 at ₹30 lakh per episode. For the ninth season, his remuneration reached nearly ₹40 crore overall, which translates to ₹40 lakh per episode.

When it comes to per-episode earnings, Jr NTR leads the chart with ₹50 lakh per episode, making him the most expensive host. Nagarjuna, however, has earned more overall due to hosting multiple seasons with gradually rising fees. Nani, despite his popularity, remains the lowest-paid among the three.
