Hari Hara Veera Mallu ; Part 1 – Sword vs Spirit starring Pawan Kalyan in his most ferocious avatar till date was originally announced for release on 28 March. However, there was always a ray of doubt about the theatrical release plan of the film, considering that the product production was taking longer than expected. While the makers were confident that the film will be releasing on March 28 as announced earlier, there was still some scepticism about the same.
In tune with this, there are new social media reports from reliable handles that this Pawan Kalyan film could get postponed again to a later date. Apparently, the delay in production is the reason behind this new postponement and an official communication to this effect could be made in the due course. As things stand, both Harihara Veera Mallu and OG, which were originally locking this date could not be making it to the theatres as planned.
Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming historical action adventure film depicts the life of legendary outlaw Veera Mallu, who is tasked with the job of stealing the Koh-i-Noor diamond from the Mughals, the film stars Pawan Kalyan in the titular role, alongside Bobby Deol, Nidhhi Agerwal, Nargis Fakhri and Nora Fatehi. It is set in the 17th century Mughal Empire.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu is bankrolled by Rathnam under the banner Mega Surya Production. The film’s score and soundtrack are composed by M. M. Keeravani. The gaint Ott platform Amazon Prime Video reportedly bought Hari Hara Veera Mallu ; Part 1 – Sword vs Spirit digital distribution rights.
The film is scheduled to theatrically release on 28 March 2025 in Telugu along with dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
