Trisha Calls Kamal Haasan ‘Hot and Dapper’ on Stage

Trisha Krishnan received a special award for her 25 years of “incredible work in South Indian cinema” at the SIIMA 2025, which was held in Dubai over the weekend. After being shown photos of some of her co-stars over the years, she was asked to discuss them. She made Kamal Haasan blush by referring to him as “hot” when he was questioned about her Thug Life co-star.

Trisha Comments on Kamal Hassan:

Kamal was seated in the first row with Sivakarthikeyan, and Trisha was handed a picture of him and requested to speak with him immediately. “Kamal sir, how come you are always so hot and so dapper?” she asked, glancing at him. How do you do it, really? That would be seconded by everyone present. Kamal’s eyes expanded, and he appeared astonished when Sivakarthikeyan cheered. Then he flushed at the compliment, grinned broadly, and bowed his head in gratitude.

Many fans believed that Trisha’s description of Kamal as “hot” was comparable to that of their Mani Ratnam characters in Thug Life. One fan made a joke about her portrayal of his partner in the movie, calling it the “Thug Life effect.” “Is this a deleted scene from Thug Life?” someone else wrote. “Still living in her Indrani role from Thug Life,” one person wrote. Even Kamal’s amusing line from the movie was mentioned by a fan, who wrote, “I am your only Adam.” Many others often referred to it as Indrani and Sakthivel’s “reunion.”

Trisha Krishnan and Kamal Hassan Upcoming Projects:

Alongside Silambarasan TR, also known as Simbu, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Abhirami, Ashok Selvan, Joju George, Nassar, Mahesh Manjrekar, Ali Fazal, Sanjana Krishnamoorthy, and Tanikella Bharani, Trisha and Kamal most recently acted in Mani Ratnam’s Thug Life. Despite earning 97.25 crore at the box office, the movie didn’t leave a lasting impression. Chiranjeevi and Trisha will soon co-star in Vishwambhara. Although Kamal has not yet revealed his next project, he has stated that he will co-star with Rajinikanth in a movie.
