Drishyam 3: Director Warns Viewers Ahead of Release

Drishyam 3: Everyone knows how successful the Drishyam franchise has been, born out of the iconic collaboration between Mohanlal and director Jeethu Joseph. The first film ran for an exceptionally long time at the box office and became a landmark in Indian cinema. With two blockbuster installments already released, the third part is now on its way. Recently, the director shared an exciting update about Drishyam 3 in an interview, and also issued a warning to fans.

Jeethu Joseph Warning to Fans:

In the interview, Jeethu Joseph said, “The audience will definitely like Drishyam 3. I am very happy with the previous two parts. Leaving aside the box office, it’s the audience’s love that has made me happiest. Everyone loved Mohanlal’s character. To me, he has always been George Kutty. Over the past four years, I have made many changes to his character, and I can assure you that the third part will be completely different from the earlier films. But if audiences expect high-intelligence scenes like in the second part, they might be disappointed, because this film will take a different path.”

He further revealed details about the making process: “The script work for the third part has been completed, and we will begin shooting next month. We’ll start with scenes mainly involving Mohanlal. I prepared the script in five rough copies. I wrote parts of the screenplay during a trip to Europe in April and even outlined scene orders while flying to Dubai. Later, I worked tirelessly, sometimes waking up as early as 3:30 a.m. to write. I shared the script with the entire crew, gave copies to the cameramen and editors, and asked for their feedback. Their suggestions helped me make important changes.”

About Drishyam Movie:

The Drishyam films revolve around a gripping family drama rooted in an accidental murder. While Mohanlal starred in the Malayalam original, Venkatesh reprised the role in the Telugu version. Collectively, the franchise has grossed more than ₹240 crore at the box office. Directed by Jeethu Joseph in Malayalam, the films have also been successfully remade in Tamil and Hindi, winning over audiences across languages.
