Saiyaara OTT: Bollywood breathed a sigh of relief when Yash raj films released Saiyaara in theatres, starring new debut actors Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda, it went on to become one of the biggest hits of the year. Aashiqui ‘2’ fame Mohit suri directed the film. The film went on to collect more than 500 crores at the box office which took everyone by surprise and once again proving that content alone is the king in making a film a hit.

Netflix Streaming Date:

After a stupendous theatrical run Saiyaara is all set to make its digital debut on streaming giant Netflix from September 12th, it will be available in Hindi language with English subtitles. Movie lovers and fans of the film are eagerly waiting for its release, for Hindi cinema OTT window is 8 weeks, as tomorrow marks the exact date of 8th week after its release Netflix is making sure that it gets worldwide reach.

A Blockbuster Story: 

Ever since it was released in theatres people are baffled by why it became such a huge hit. The story line is pretty simple, two people fall in love and their romance is doomed because the girl has Alzheimer’s disease, the pain in their romance forms the main crux of the story. Chemistry between the lead actors and the music in the film has struck a chord with young audiences and they lapped it up with open hands. And, for the past 3 to 4 years bollywood is going through a re-invention phase and this film can be viewed as a love story that has Gen-Z values as its theme which proved to be authentic for this generation.

Even before the release of the film Saiyaara garnered a major buzz and had opened to record numbers for debutant leads. It collected around 20 crores at the box office. Netflix purchased the streaming rights and it will release the film across 190 countries. We have to wait and see if the same magic will repeat in the ott as well.
