SRK–Kajol Song That Cost 7 Crores to Make: Guess Which One?

SRK – Kajol Song: Many people consider Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol to be one of Bollywood’s most famous on-screen duos. From Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai to Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, their flicks have continuously performed well at the box office. Following My Name Is Khan (2010), the pair reteamed for Rohit Shetty’s 2015 film Dilwale. With a budget of Rs 165 crore, Dilwale spent an incredible Rs 7 crore just on the song Gerua, which became a popular song and a visual extravaganza.

SRK–Kajol Song in Iceland:

Choreographer Farah Khan, who directed the song’s sequences, revealed about the song and the cost of making too in her recent visit to Shark Tank fame Ashneer Grover’s house. Gerua is the only Bollywood film that was shot in Iceland. During her chit chat with Ashneer Grover and his wife, she remarked, “You guys have travelled so much.” Ashneer’s wife, Madhuri, shared, “We recently visited Iceland, where you shot Gerua.” Farah immediately asked, “Did you two recreate the iconic Shah Rukh-Kajol scene?” Ashneer quipped, “No, we didn’t have a chiffon saree for that,” prompting laughter. Madhuri added, “We just played the song in the background.”

How Much is Gerua Making Cost?
She went on to reveal, “When we Googled ‘Which Bollywood films have been shot there?’ only your song came up.” Farah explained, “That’s because Gerua is the only Bollywood song ever shot in Iceland. The location is incredibly expensive.” She added, “We shot that song with just two people, and yet the budget was Rs 7 crore.”

The Making of Gerua:
The southern coast of the nation, which includes the Vestrahorn Mountains, Reynisfjara Beach, Solheimasandur, and volcanic landscapes, was the setting for the film Gerua. Even though the song was a sight to behold, the frigid weather made the project quite difficult. Kajol previously stated on Red Chillies Entertainment’s YouTube channel: “It was really cold.” We were unable to stand there. I was wearing three hoodies and jackets. “That iceberg and we had to be tied to avoid it slipping away,” SRK recounted after firing on the iceberg. It was becoming challenging for us to practice there, Kajol continued. Our lips turned blue. To lip sync, we were unable to open them.

Which is the Most Expensive Song Shoot in India?
Despite being made for Rs 7 crore, Gerua’s budget is still below average. Game Changer’s producers disclosed ahead of the movie’s premiere that they had spent an astounding Rs 75 crore on just four of the seven songs in the movie. These scenes, which were choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, included more than 1,000 dancers. Regretfully, the songs did not connect with fans despite their excellent production value.
