Processed Meats

Processed meats like bacon and sausages can be harmful to kidney health. High consumption of processed meats has been found to increase the risk of chronic kidney disease (CKD) due to their high sodium and phosphorus content

Sugar-rich cereals

Artificial additives in sugar-rich cereals can negatively affect kidney health. Excessive sugar intake can lead to obesity and insulin resistance. Both of these are major risk factors for kidney disease.

Flavored teas

Flavored teas contain sugar, artificial flavors, and phosphates. This can affect kidney health. High sugar intake can lead to weight gain and insulin resistance, which increases the risk of kidney problems.

Pastries and baked goods

Pastries, muffins, and donuts are high in refined sugar, unhealthy fats, and carbohydrates, so these ingredients can quickly spike blood sugar levels, contribute to obesity, and put extra strain on the kidneys.

Fast food

Fast food contains excessive sodium, preservatives, and unhealthy fats. These ingredients can increase blood pressure, increase cholesterol levels, and affect kidney function.

Noodles

Noodles are high in sodium. Flavor packets often contain salt and MSG. This can cause dehydration and increase blood pressure. Both of these are harmful to kidney function.

Fruit juice

Fruit juice is high in sugar. This can lead to weight gain, insulin resistance, and increased blood sugar. All of these things negatively affect kidney health.
