Prabhas – HanumanKind: Prabhas is doing multiple films, but his next release would be “Raaja Saab”, comedy entertainer specialist Maruthi is directing this film under People media factory banner. Thaman is composing music for this film. Now, a buzz is going around on the internet that popular rapper HanumanKind(Sooraj Cherukat) is going to sing Prabhas’ character’s introduction song.

This song will be unveiled as a gift for fans on Prabhas birthday. HanumanKind is a famous rapper who hails from Kerala, and he shot to fame with his independent song “Big Dawgs”. With his unique blending style of Hip-Hop with Rap, this song was supposed to bring a new vibe to the film’s album.

Prabhas career shift

Prabhas is a kind of actor who is very well suited for big action entertainers; his body type and personality make him perfect for action. But, many were surprised when he announced a film with Maruthi, who made comedy super hits like “Bhale bhale mogadivoy” with Nani and “Manchi rojulu vachayi” with Sai durga Tej. Why does a star who is very good in action want to make a comedy film? This was the biggest question everyone in the industry grappled with.
But, this theory of a star is suited best only for this kind of films makes the actor inside that star crave for more diversified roles to break the image he built and satisfy his hunger for the craft. So Prabhas choosing to do a film with a comedy entertainer specialist makes perfect sense if we consider the actor’s point of view.

But, the big question arises, what about the business point of view? Prabhas demands a big pay cheque and the film in the comedy genre requires less amount of scale and cost for its production. This heavy mismatch is a worrying factor for the producer of the film. So, Prabhas, understanding this big varying factor took half of his remuneration and is said to have made a deal to share the profits.

A star reducing his fees for a film is less about the money than the prestige that number(remuneration) holds in the market and the public. But, going ahead taking everything into account makes us wonder if Prabhas is planning a different approach and wants to be versatile in his career.
