Good Bad Ugly is a film starring Ajith Kumar. Good Bad Ugly was removed from Netflix, following a complaint by Ilayaraja. The Madras High Court had banned the screening of the film on Ilayaraja’s complaint that his songs were used in the film without permission.

Three songs composed by Ilayaraja were used in the film. The songs Otha Rupay Tharen, En Jodi Manjakuruvi, and Ilamai Itho Itho were used in Good Bad Ugly. Ilayaraja had come forward with a complaint against this. Ilayaraja had demanded a written apology and a compensation of Rs 5 crore in the complaint. However, the producers of Good Bad Ugly, Mythri Movie Makers, argued that they had taken permission from the copyright holders of the song as per the law. After detailed arguments, the High Court banned the screening of the film with Ilayaraja’s songs. It is in this context that Netflix has withdrawn the Ajith film.

Good Bad Ugly is an action comedy film by Ajith Kumar. While Ajith Kumar is the hero, the heroine in the film is Trisha. Prabhu, Arjun Das, Prasanna, Sunil, Usha Uthup, Rahul Dev, Redin Kingsley, Pradeep Kabra, Harry Josh, BS Avinash, Priya Prakash Warrier, Tinnu Anand, and Shine Tom Chacko also play roles. Abhinandan Ramanujan is the cinematographer. GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music.

Good Bad Ugly was a good success. It earned Rs 248.25 crore at the global box office. It earned Rs 180.75 crore from India alone. Ajith’s Good Bad Ugly earned Rs 67.5 crore from abroad alone.
