The Bads of Bollywood: Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan is making his directorial debut with a web series titled “The Ba****ds of Bollywood”. This satirical action drama had its premier last night and it will begin streaming on Netflix today. Usually Netflix starts streaming from midnight i.e, 12PM IST. But, for this series it changed the strategy, the series will be dropping this afternoon i.e, 12:30PM IST.

We have to see this change of plans has any value added to it, the series features Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, Sahher Bambba in the lead roles with special cameos featuring leading Bollywood actors Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and many other celebrities. An interesting thing is S.S Rajamouli is also set to appear in a cameo in the series.

What to expect:

From the trailer we can expect that the series deals with the theme of ‘Nepotism’, this can be viewed as irony because it is being directed by the person who is the product of nepotism. But, keeping that aside, the trailer offers us the story of a young outsider actor who enters the film industry to become a big star in Hindi cinema.

In the trailer we can see the scale of the content, extravagant sets and action set pieces, the funny and quirky characters surrounded with the glitz and glamorous world of show business. This unique blend of worlds offers a fresh take on Bollywood and its inner doings. Bobby deol is playing a menacing villain as always he looks fabulous in the series.

With this release, one can hope that Aryan Khan is not another nepo kid who is handed the opportunity on a golden plate; he, too, worked hard to make this happen, and the same was visible in the trailer. “The Ba****ds of Bollywood” is produced by Gauri Khan under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner. Netflix bought the distribution rights, and it will be available on the platform from this day, i.e, September 18th afternoon.
