Rajinikanth–Kamal Haasan Movie: The most awaited film in South Indian cinema is the new project of Rajinikanth-Kamal Haasan. This is also the film in which the two will be together after 46 years. However, it is not yet confirmed who will direct the film. However, according to Tamil media reports, Venkat Prabhu will be the director of the film. Meanwhile, there are reports that Yuvan Shankar Raja will be composing the music for the film. Venkat Prabhu’s last released film was ‘Goat’, which starred Vijay. Kamal Haasan officially spoke about the film during the SIIMA Awards held last week.
However, Rajinikanth says that he cannot give more details about the film right now. Rajinikanth says that the story of the film has not been decided and the director has not been confirmed. Meanwhile, the film is being produced by Raj Kamal Films International and Red Giants Movies. Rajinikanth’s response came amid rumors that Lokesh Kanagaraj is going to direct the film of the two superstars of South Indian cinema.
“We both were very happy to be apart. We used to share a biscuit in two. When each of us wanted a different biscuit, we bought it that way. Now I am happy that we are going to share a biscuit again. We are going to come together again. The competition within us was created by the audience. It was not a competition for us, the fact that we are coming together is a surprise at the business level.
We are in a way that is happening like this at least now. Let it happen. We always wanted each other to make a film for each other. We ourselves were prolonging it by saying, ‘Not now.’ When I built a new office, Rajini asked when we would do a film. Thank you for placing hope in us. Now it is up to us to work with that hope.” Kamal Haasan said.
