OG First Review: Indeed, OG is one of the most long-awaited releases in Telugu cinema because of Pawan Kalyan’s invincible star power and, thus, promises high-octane action entertaining entertainment. Obviously, the audience has been yearning for Pawan’s entry into the ₹100 crore club with OG, a feat that continuously remains elusive for the Power Star despite all the popularity. With that out in theatres, we’re not getting more reviews.
The first reports suggest that the movie produces different outcomes. According to early talk, the first half is considered as unreliable- bad narrative flow and lackluster sequences. The same for the songs, and the CGI work appears incompetent when compared to the hype surrounding the project.
However, the second half picks up pace, especially in the last 15 minutes leading to the pre-climax scenes of high-octane action and emotional cartels provide few reliefs for most of the people. For many viewers, this portion is within the saving grace of the film.
This argues against it all: despite all of this, the sound buzz around OG works in its favor. According to film trade analysts, the overall gross of the film would be around ₹100 crores worldwide gross valuation, including the premieres all across languages; irrespective of the Day 1 talks, Pawan Kalyan’s strong fan followership, along with the film’s pan-India appeal, is almost ensured of a terrific opening.

In a nutshell, OG has not met entirely with the over-excessive expectations attached to it. Although the first half is weak and overshadowed by some negative aspects of the technology. On the contrary, the last 15 minutes of the second half are quite powerful to please hardcore fans. Only time will tell whether Pawan Kalyan enters the ₹100 crore club, but the opening numbers and fan support will go a long way in determining the film’s box office fate.
