Navratri Day 1 Pooja Vidhi 2025: Navratri is one of the grandly celebrated and long-lasting Hindu festivals. With rigorous observance of devotion and fasting for 9 days in honor and worship of the nine incarnations of Goddess Durga. Day 1 of Navratri has special importance among devotees. Because that day is designated for the worship of Goddess Shailputri, the daughter of the Himalayas and one of the manifestations of Maa Durga. It is believed that if the puja on Day 1 of Navratri is done correctly. It will lead the devotee toward peace, strength, and blessings in their life.

Before puja takes place, the worshippers cleanse all around. And prepare a place where an idol or picture of the Goddess Durga will be kept. Kalash Sthapana: The Kalash is kept over a bed of rice or soil with barley seeds; after invoking. It is prayed that Goddess Durga may dwell therein for nine days.
Invocation Invocation of Goddess Shailputri: Light a ghee diya, offer flowers, red cloth, and chant Durga mantras dedicated to Maa Shailputri.
Offerings (Naivedya): Fruits, sweets, and milk-based prasad are served to the Goddess by the devotees.
