OG Censor Certificate:
Pawan Kalyan’s much-awaited film OG, directed by Sujeeth, is all set for a grand release on September 25, 2025. The film has completed its censor process and surprisingly received an A certificate, meaning it is restricted to adults. The makers initially hoped for a U/A certificate, which would have allowed families and teenagers to watch the movie. To achieve this, several changes and cuts were suggested by the censor board. Despite their efforts to minimize modifications, the team finally accepted the A certificate with eight changes recommended by the board.
During a pre-release event, Pawan Kalyan spoke about the challenges he often faces with his films, especially regarding censorship. He emphasized that success never comes easily, and every project requires hard work and perseverance.
The A certificate indicates that children and teenagers under 18 will not be allowed to watch OG. This could affect family audiences, especially during the festive season when families often go to theatres together. Multiplexes are strict about enforcing this rule, while single-screen theatres and smaller centres in rural areas may be more flexible, which could benefit the film’s overall turnout.
Despite the restriction, if the film’s content is compelling, it has the potential to attract audiences, as seen with recent hits like Salaar and Animal.
OG has a runtime of 2 hours 34 minutes. In Andhra Pradesh, the 1 AM shows on September 25 have been cancelled, while the film has received permission for a 10 AM show on September 24, giving eager fans a chance to watch it earlier.
Directed by Sujeeth, OG is generating high anticipation and excitement among fans of Pawan Kalyan. The combination of action, drama, and Pawan Kalyan’s star power is expected to make it a thrilling cinematic experience. With the festival season approaching, the film’s performance will be closely watched by both fans and the industry.
OG releases in theatres on September 25, 2025, and adult audiences are eagerly waiting to witness this action-packed entertainer.
