Telugu star Vijay Deverakonda is set to star in a multilingual film starring Keerthy Suresh in the lead role. Ravi Kiran Kola, who has directed films like Raja Vaaru Rani Garu and Ashoka Vanam Lo Arjuna Kalyanam, is set to direct the new film. Although Vijay Deverakonda previously starred in Mahanati, which also starred Keerthy Suresh, there were no scenes in the film where the two would appear together. That is why the news about the new film is exciting for the fans of both of them.

Reports say that the new film is an action drama set in a rural setting. It is also known that the makers are planning to start shooting in October. However, Vijay Deverakonda needs to complete the shooting of the film, which is being directed by Rahul Sankrityan, before that. Apart from Telugu, the plan is to release the film in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages.

Kingdom is Vijay Deverakonda’s last film that hit the theatres. The film, which belongs to the spy action thriller genre, was written and directed by Gautham Thinnanuri. The film was jointly produced by Sitara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. However, the film failed to gain much attention from the audience.

Meanwhile, Keerthy Suresh’s film that came out this year is also from Telugu. The film titled Uppu Kappurambu was released as a direct OTT release through Amazon Prime Video. The film, which belongs to the comedy drama genre, was directed by I V Sasi’s son Ani I V Sasi.
