UP Viral Video: Tuesday night, a headmaster allegedly used a belt to assault BSA Akhilesh Pratap Singh following a dispute about accusations made against him, causing chaos at the Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA) office in Sitapur. Social media users also shared a 33-second video of the incident.
Why did the UP Headmaster attack the Education Officer?
The accused, Brijendra Kumar Verma, who is the headmaster of a primary school in the Mahmudabad block’s Nadwa Visheshwarganj, came to the BSA office to explain the charges made by a female teacher. Witnesses said that a heated argument resulted from BSA Singh’s displeasure with Verma’s explanation.

During an abrupt reaction, Verma allegedly hit Singh several times, pulled out his belt, and slammed a file on the BSA’s desk. The cop was struck at least five times in six seconds. The headmaster allegedly grabbed Singh’s cell phone and destroyed it when he attempted to call the police. Additionally, Verma destroyed government documents and got into a fight with staffer Prem Shankar Maurya when he tried to step in.

CCTV footage of the entire incident shows office workers racing to save the BSA. Police were notified right away as panic broke out in the office. Verma was immediately placed under arrest.

Police have promised that the case is being investigated and that, after statements and medical reports are gathered, the proper charges will be brought.
