SSMB 29 Update: SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu are gearing up for their much awaited historical action adventure film SSMB 29, according to recent reports actor and director together finalized deal with the producers with a 40% profit share. Also read on for more updated about the project here.

The Global African Jungle Adventure is a two-part epic narrative that reinvents the jungle adventure genre.  RRR director SS Rajamouli intends to combine the jungle adventure genre with elements of adrenaline and espionage.

According to a source, Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli have signed into a profit-sharing agreement with the producers to ensure that all funds are put on the film rather than using the upfront fee approach.

It is said that SS Rajamouli has faith in his craft, and Mahesh Babu believes in his stardom. The duo has entered into a backend agreement to avoid burdening the initiative with excessive payments as their goal is to make cinema that leaves a lasting memory for the entire cinema-going audience. Both Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli have agreed to share 40% of the profits with the producers.

The film’s production will officially begin tomorrow, i.e, 2nd January. and shooting is scheduled to begin in April 2025. The producers intend to release this untitled jungle adventure in two parts, with the first in 2027 and the second in 2029.

Priyanka Chopra is returning to the Indian film industry after a 5-year hiatus, having signed on for filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s next film, which stars Mahesh Babu in the lead. The, billed as a one-of-a-kind worldwide jungle adventure, will premiere this summer with marathon programs in India and internationally. While Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra play the key roles, SS Rajamouli has hired Prithviraj Sukumar as the antagonist. And now, we have exclusively learned that SS Rajamouli and his producers intend to release SSMB 29 in 2027.
