Sonu Sood Rejected To Play Villain In Salman Khan Starrer; Here’s Why. Sonu Sood recently revealed a news no one knew that why he rejected a film with Salman Khan. He also disclosed the reason behind that. Sood was offered to play a villain in Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan starrer Dabangg 2.
Sonu Sood revealed that Salman and Arbaaz approached him to repeat his role from Dabangg again in the second part. He also admitted that both the brothers understood why Sood had declined the offer. He said, “I’m not feeling excited about this role, so how can I do it?” They were understanding, replying, “It’s okay, no issues.”
In addition to making his directorial and producing debut, Sood will feature in the next action movie Fateh. Sonu talked about how he declined some of the greatest offers in Bollywood during promotional interviews with DNA India, stating that his experience in South cinema given him the courage to do so.
He revealed that his experiences there were crucial to his development as an actor and that the variety of parts he did in South cinema were incredibly fulfilling. Sonu referred to working with the best talent in the South as his “learning ground” and conveyed his gratitude.
With the attitude that he would only take on projects he genuinely believed in, he said that his time in the South had given him the confidence to turn down proposals from Bollywood, adding, “If I do it, I’ll do it well; otherwise, I won’t do it at all.” On January 10, 2025, Fateh is expected to be released in theaters.
