Currently, the actor is in Barcelona, Spain, where he is participating in a 24-hour endurance race. In a recent interaction with the media, Ajith shared how pursuing motorsports has come with personal sacrifices, especially when it comes to family time.

Ajith admitted that being deeply involved in racing often keeps him away from his children, Anoushka and Aadvik. He expressed that he misses them just as much as they miss him. The actor said that such sacrifices are rarely visible to the outside world, but following one’s true passion demands difficult choices.

He also spoke warmly about his wife, Shalini, acknowledging her role in making his dream possible. Ajith shared that Shalini manages the household and children whenever he is away for his races. He stressed that her support is the foundation that allows him to balance both cinema and motorsports. Recently, Shalini also accompanied him to Spain and even shared a heartfelt picture on social media, calling him her “champion.”

When asked about his children’s future interests, Ajith revealed that his son has started go-karting but clarified that he would never force his career path on them. He believes in giving his kids the freedom to choose their own journeys, assuring that he would fully support whatever decisions they make.

On the work front, Ajith was last seen in Good Bad Ugly, an action-comedy directed by Aadhik Ravichandran. The film, which tells the story of a former gangster fighting to protect his son, is now streaming on Netflix. After its success, Ajith has teamed up once again with the director for his next film, tentatively titled AK64.
