Mahakali Akshaye Khanna Look: The first glimpse of Akshaye Khanna in Mahakali, where he plays “Asuraguru Shukracharya,” was recently revealed by director Prasanth Varma.

At first glance, many people mistook him for Amitabh Bachchan. It was only after the official announcement that they realized it was Akshaye Khanna. Several viewers even commented that his look strongly resembles Amitabh Bachchan’s portrayal of Dronacharya in Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD. This sparked a new controversy, with some speculating that the image might be entirely AI-generated. It has also raised questions about whether Mahakali is drawing inspiration from Kalki 2898 AD.

Take a look at the post:

Mahakali Akshaye Khanna Look & His Role :
Sources close to the production confirmed that Akshaye plays a crucial role in the film. Speaking to Hindustan Times, they revealed, “All we can say is that his role will add intrigue and depth to the expanding PVCU universe.” However, they refused to disclose whether he plays the antagonist or a positive character. They confirmed that Akshaye’s character will appear in multiple films across the franchise. The team hopes Mahakali will be received as positively as HanuMan. Interestingly, at one point, there were talks that Prasanth Varma was considering Ranveer Singh and Karthi for major roles. However, those plans did not materialize.
