RGV Review Raja Saab Trailer: Just after the trailer of Prabhas’ film The Raja Saab came into the public domain, all speculation and discussions had begun. The fans were excited to see their favourite superstar in an entirely new shade when Varma, the director, came onto the scene and gave his views about the trailer. Call his comments positive or call them comments from the `controversial’ side; one chose them as they were apparently far from his usual observations. This was followed respectfully when, later with a sense of gratitude, Maruthi responded back, thereby warming up the whole interaction.
An evaluation of the Raja Saab trailer by Ram Gopal Varma-a well-known irreverent. And sharp-tongued film critic-came as a pleasant surprise for most with seldom seen fair praise from his side. In his tweet, RGV applauded Prabhas’ versatility, saying that the movie showed “most unexpected side” of the star after years of been deeply entrenched in heavy roles. He called the Raja Saab a “multi-masala migraine mix”. Giving credit to the team, especially producer TG Vishwa Prasad and director Maruthi, for bringing out “the best of Prabhas”.
In return, director Maruthi sent a note full of warmth thanking RGV. He stated how his filmmaking journey started with Ee Rojullo, which was drawn by RGV’s experimental film Dongala Mutha. Maruthi then credited RGV in his debut film title’s credits. And thanked Prabhas for trusting him to present a new dimension to the actor. His humble and respectful reply made the hearts of the fans melt.
This whole exchange went into the books for being “controversial” because of RGV’s uncharacteristically soft and encouraging tone that preceded much discussion. It is known that Ram has a rather acidic tongue for making digs at various filming kinds of people. And this encouragement, without any scorn, felt strange. Comparisons were also made between the vfx work with Mirai. RGV said, “for going far beyond the VFX of #Mirayi “. He called Raja Saab VFX was even better than Mirai which he praised very highly.
