Zubeen Garg Death Case: Police have made a breakthrough in the death case of renowned singer and the “King of Humming,” Zubeen Garg. On Wednesday, authorities arrested North East India Festival (NEIF) organizer Shyanka Mahanta and Zubeen’s manager Siddharth Sharma.

Mahanta, who had just returned from an event in Singapore, was arrested at New Delhi airport, while Sharma was taken into custody from his apartment in Gurugram. Both have been shifted to Guwahati for questioning, a senior police officer confirmed.

The Suspicious Death
Zubeen Garg tragically died on September 19 while bathing in the sea in Singapore, where he had gone to perform at the North East India Festival. He was not wearing a life jacket at the time, which has raised suspicions surrounding the incident. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has assured that the guilty will not be spared. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) is currently probing the case under his orders.

Who Was Zubeen Garg?
